I had a similar question about 4 months ago and I was not able to find an answer for it. I was able to color weave my own hair. I bought a dark brown at Sally's Beauty Supply and my hair is naturally dark brown. It worked great. I did not bleach the hair. I just bought the weave hair color and the developer. I have put it on my hair twice and have no issues.
