Are 18-inch Tires Good for Snow?
over 2 years ago by Thomas Edsall
18-inch tires are good, but using a smaller tire compatible with your vehicle is better. Many car experts recommend using smaller tires during the winter, especially when it's snowing. You can also use the OEM when deciding on snow tires. The biggest difference between the tires is that the 16-inch size is only 205mm wide, while the 18 inch staggered wheels and 19-inch sizes are 225mm wide. The smaller tire is better when looking at different winter tire sizes, as it provides more ability to cut snow down to the surface.
