If you have clip-in hair extensions, you can color them. The procedure is not as complicated as it may seem. There are few things to ensure coloring your extensions.

Take Care of Your Extensions

First, use only the right color conditioner and developer. The conditioner will help your hair for being healthy and prevent it from getting damaged by the developer.

The developer will turn your clip in hair extensions purple or black depending on how long they have been sitting in the solution before you apply it to them. If your extensions have been sitting in a solution for a long time, they may not be able to take the color as well as if they were brand new ones.

You should also avoid washing your hair for 24hrs after applying the developer because this will help keep the color from fading away too quickly.
